okay so i’ve been wondering about this for a while. like regular casinos you obviously know how they make money, but with sweepstakes casinos it’s all free coins and sweeps coins and stuff. how do sweepstakes casinos make money if they’re giving away so much free SC? i know they sell gold coin packages but it still feels weird. anyone here have a solid explanation?

Plus the house edge on the games is built in just like any casino. They’re not charities. They make money the same way a regular casino does, just with extra steps.
If you’re disciplined and don’t chase losses, you can come out ahead sometimes. But the house always has the edge. That’s how they stay in business.
yeah what eddie said. plus on the crypto side of things (shuffle.com etc) the house edge is even easier to see cause its all real money bets. but with sweeps they bank on people not redeeming or losing before hitting the min. ive def left a lot of SC sitting there lol
Exactly. And don’t forget the playthrough requirements on the free SC. Even if you win something, you gotta wager it 1x or more before you can redeem. That’s another layer of edge working in their favor. Most people don’t have the discipline to grind through it.
